Associate Opportunities
(an invitation to succeed)
Have you considered
buying into a well established practice as an associate with a
planned progression to full ownership.
We have adopted a saying recently "the higher up the food chain of
successful practices the more difficult the practice is to sell".
In other words a practice generating fees around $800,000 to
$1,500,000 and with all round excellence commands a high price.
The ability to fund that high price is daunting even though the
value is obvious. The question is can the buyer maintain the level,
and improve the level and retain the patient base.
With a planned progression and a purchase price established at the
outset there is much to commend the associate path. The cash flow is
established, procedures, staff, marketing, leases, administration,
equipment are all in place and again obviously the primary dentist
is able to mentor the associate in all aspects of the practice.
The primary dentist has a planned and agreed exit strategy and any
patient base disruption is minimised if not eliminated.....
We have a number of associate opportunities to buy in , all or part
with negotiable options. In New South Wales & interstate we will
require a CV please and then a confidentiality agreement will be
required for all parties.
Market opinions & practice appraisals
Layton Practice Sales can prepare
formal written market assessments for Dental and Medical practices.
Market opinions may be required when selling your practice
privately, incoming associates or partners, or the merging of
practices.
In order to to give an on site market opinion we examine many
factors that determine the true market value of the practice. these
factors include:
- Gross and Net income
- Location
- Patronage
- Dependability
- Skill
- Quality
- Equipment, stock and fitout.
"It is
unreasonable to conclude that the value of goodwill in a dental
practice can be determined simply by using a formula."
If you would like to
contact us about a market opinion call us for a confidential
questionnaire.
Under the conditions of our license we will then arrange a time to
introduce ourselves and personally inspect the practice.
